Louisiana started the game off right with 31 first-half points. Metro-East Lutheran countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 31-7 going into the half. The Louisiana defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The win bumped Louisiana's record up to 1-4. The defeat dropped Metro-East Lutheran's record to 1-3.
Louisiana will stay at home next week against Paris at 7:00 PM. Paris are limping into the match on a four-game losing streak. Metro-East Lutheran will be staying on the road, facing off against Kelly.
