After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Baptist Academy, Many was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Elizabeth Bulldogs with a sharp 22-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Rylee Gunter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Leah Bourque was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caylee Downs, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Elizabeth, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Many will host Anacoco at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elizabeth, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Rapides at 4:00 p.m.
