Hernando had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Citrus on Wednesday. The Leopards never let the Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Austin Knierim, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Hedick, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Hernando was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Hernando pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games.
