Neither Holy Ground Baptist Academy nor The King's Academy could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
Holy Ground Baptist Academy came into their this week averaging 30.33 points per game, but Holy Ground Baptist Academy fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They took a 6-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cherokee Christian. Holy Ground Baptist Academy got a solid performance out of senior Jackson Yates, who picked up 113 yards on the ground and accumulated 226 passing yards; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Yates has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Meanwhile, The King's Academy took a serious blow against Georgia Force Christian last Friday, falling 0-46. The King's Academy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-24.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. With four turnovers, Holy Ground Baptist Academy had trouble holding onto the ball two weeks ago. We'll see if The King's Academy exploit that vulnerability.
