Arcanum and the Jets are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Arcanum Trojans will be playing at home against the Franklin Monroe Jets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Arcanum scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They skirted past Bradford 70-67. The victory was familiar territory for Arcanum who now have three in a row.
Arcanum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Regan Christ led the charge by scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Landon Flatter, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Franklin Monroe didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Railroaders on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 64-58 win.
Arcanum is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Franklin Monroe, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Arcanum against the Jets when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 52-21 victory. Will Arcanum repeat their success, or do the Jets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
