Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harvest Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janay Carter, who posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Israelle Smith, who had 19 points.
Harvest Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive contests.
Harvest Prep moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Federal Hocking, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvest Prep will be taking part in a tournament against Bishop Watterson at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Federal Hocking and Minford will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
