On Friday, New Bern Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind the Cyclones and lost 64-47. New Bern Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tyler Willis, who scored nine points. Luke Puchalski was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Bethel Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Conquerors on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory. The win was just what Bethel Christian Academy needed coming off of a 72-26 loss in their prior match.
New Bern Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.
