There's no place like home for the Macon County Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They breezed by Webster County at home to the tune of 61-10. With Macon County ahead 35-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Macon County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aniah Lake, who scored 14 points along with 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Smith, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds.
The win got Macon County back to even at 1-1. As for Webster County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Macon County will head out on the road to face off against Wilkinson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Webster County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Schley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
