Hart County extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They fell  24-14 to the Flowery Branch Falcons. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
 Kurston Curry threw for 124 yards  on nine of 14 attempts.   Kaidyn Allen was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.
As for Flowery Branch, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 31.0 points over those games.
 Flowery Branch got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Brett Strum out in front who threw for 203 yards and one  touchdown while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 48 yards and one  score.  Griffin Harper was another key rusher, gaining 157 total yards.
 Hart County and Flowery Branch will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  games. The next time the Bulldogs see the field they'll take on Monroe Area  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 19th. As for Flowery Branch, their break will end when they face Eastside  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 19th.
