Granite Hills extended their home winning streak to nine games  dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from  Tristan McDaniel. The Eagles blew past Foothills Christian 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank  McDaniel, who  had 42  assists and 11  digs. He has been hot recently, having  posted 42 or more assists the last three times he's  played.
 Granite Hills never let Foothills Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-11,  25-16.
West Hills not only won  on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win  since February 24th. They put the hurt on Mount Miguel with a sharp  3-0 win. The Wolf Pack haven't had any issues with the Matadors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  victory against them.
 While West Hills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22,  25-19.
 Granite Hills' win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for West Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
 Everything went Granite Hills' way against West Hills when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, as Granite Hills made off with  a  3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
