After a string of five wins, Genesee Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to the Kingston Cardinals 35-30.
Austin DeRoseau was his usual excellent self, going 6-for-12 on his way to 15 points along with eight boards and four blocks for Kingston. DeRoseau is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Peyton Harrington, who posted two points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
Genesee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Kingston, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
