A well-balanced attack led Cincinnati Christian over Lockland in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cincinnati Christian Cougars blew the Lockland Panthers out of the water with a 57-27 final score. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Cincinnati Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Savannah Johnson out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards Johnson has posted since back in November of 2024. Rachel Mullins also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Cincinnati Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lockland only posted three assists.

Despite the defeat, Lockland saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Princes Webster dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Webster is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 19 games she's played. Amyiah Jefferson was another key player, putting up five points.

The win was the fourth in a row for Cincinnati Christian, bringing their record for this year to 13-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Lockland, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Christian will head out to challenge Seven Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cincinnati Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Lockland, they will head out on the road to take on New Miami at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
