Bishop Manogue is 8-2 against Galena since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Miners will welcome the Grizzlies at 3:45 p.m. Bishop Manogue is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Bishop Manogue is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Carson, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Bishop Manogue was ranked seventh). The Miners never let the Senators get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Miners have won 15 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Galena came into Thursday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over Reno on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Grizzlies considering their one-run performance the match before.
Ava Greene made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Greene was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
