The Mulberry Grove Aces's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They lost to Lincolnwood at home by a decisive 50-32 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mulberry Grove has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Mulberry Grove still got an impressive performance from Carter Scoggins, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Mulberry Grove has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Lincolnwood, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.
Mulberry Grove will challenge Maryville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincolnwood, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lutheran at 7:30 p.m.
