The Waverly Warriors will challenge the Fowlerville Gladiators at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Waverly saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKenna Bensinger, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Bensinger is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Fowlerville also got a great performance from Rylee Gulledge as she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off three hits. Those seven strikeouts gave Gulledge a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Tommi Kleinschmidt and Avery Borg did most of the damage at the plate: Kleinschmidt went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Borg went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. Michaela Gulledge was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Fowlerville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.
Fowlerville's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Waverly, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
