The Pilot Grove Tigers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They breezed by Sacred Heart on the road to the tune of 53-15. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-8.
Sacred Heart's loss came despite strong showings from Paisley Carl and Bailee Vogel. Carl scored 5 points, while Vogel scored 5 points. Carl scored a full 33.3% of Sacred Heart's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Pilot Grove's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Sacred Heart, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pilot Grove's road trip will continue as they head out to face Glasgow at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Sacred Heart, they will square off against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Windsor and Sacred Heart are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
