There's no place like home for the Brewer Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  60-57  win over Danville  on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory Brewer has posted  since November 21, 2023.
 Brewer was led to victory by  Cason Oden and  Austyn Holmes.  Oden  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  rebounds, while  Holmes  scored 22 points along with five  rebounds and two  steals. Holmes also  posted two  blocks for the first time this season.  Cam Ballinger was another key contributor,  scoring seven points.
 Brewer is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewer will take on the Bears at 5:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Plainview presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Patriots in Alabama (the Bears are ranked 43rd, while the Patriots are ranked 223rd). As for Danville, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against the Eagles at 7:00  p.m. Covenant Christian will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
