It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but American Leadership Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 74-46 victory over the Waterford Ravens. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
American Leadership Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tad Swarnes, who went 5-for-7 en route to 15 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Jackson, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds.
Despite the loss, Waterford still got an impressive performance from Preston Jenkins, who posted 25 points. Jenkins' afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Julian Cheffings, who put up seven points.
The victory was the 11th in a row for American Leadership Academy, bringing their record for this year to 20-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points.
