The Arrowhead Christian Eagles and the Pacific Pirates will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. Arrowhead Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Pacific likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, everything went Arrowhead Christian's way against Canyon Springs as Arrowhead Christian made off with a 65-45 victory. Given Arrowhead Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Canyon Springs is ranked 650th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Clayton Mpiana , who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Eso Ozonoh was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Pacific's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 58-49 to Indian Springs. Pacific has struggled against Indian Springs recently, as their game last Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Arrowhead Christian pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Pacific, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
