Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huntington North). They breezed by the New Haven Bulldogs to the tune of 70-21 on Friday. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 340th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was A'Lanah Webb, who posted 13 points and five boards.

Huntington North pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for New Haven, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, Huntington North and New Haven will both be playing Marion the next time they take the court. Huntington North will host Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while New Haven will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
