Mineral Springs relied on the efforts of Malik Matthews, who rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and Katrevion Thomas, who rushed for 163 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. Kevin davis made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Murfreesboro's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Mineral Springs, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
