Jefferson Davis Academy extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Gregory Lihan. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the King's Academy Lions on Friday, sneaking past 74-72 with plenty of help from Lihan, who rushed for 238 yards and six TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 11 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Jefferson Davis Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for King's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Jefferson Davis Academy will welcome Holly Hill Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson Davis Academy will need to watch out since Holly Hill Academy has now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for King's Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cathedral Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Generals will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
