The Ayden - Grifton Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 30-20 to Southside. Ayden - Grifton has struggled against Southside recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Southside can attribute much of their success to Kaliah Moore, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 19 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Indiah Moore, who scored 8 points.
Ayden - Grifton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southside, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ayden - Grifton will take on South Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southside won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rosewood at 6:00 p.m. on November 29th.
