Utica Academy of Science's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Doneilious King j.r, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. King j.r has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Akol Machteng was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Utica Academy of Science's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Bishop Grimes, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Utica Academy of Science will head out on the road to square off against Corcoran at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Corcoran is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Bishop Grimes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Ludden at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Ludden is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
