Chamberlain is 2-7 against Alonso since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Storm will venture away from home to face off against the Ravens at 7:00 p.m. Alonso took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chamberlain, who comes in off a win.
Chamberlain took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They put the hurt on Leto with a sharp 20-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Storm's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Braylynn Ausman Hall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliana Morales, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Chamberlain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .846. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, while it was Alonso who put the first runs on the board on Saturday, it was Sickles who put up more. The Ravens lost 10-4 to the Gryphons.
Emily Araujo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI.
Alonso's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Chamberlain, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13.
Alonso's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Chamberlain has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .470. It's a different story for Alonso, though, as they've only averaged .356. Will they be able to contain Chamberlain's hitters?
Chamberlain might still be hurting after the 18-2 loss they got from Alonso when the teams last played back in March. Can the Storm avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
