Vince Scaturro was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Robelle Abai was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
D'Evelyn's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Evergreen, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
D'Evelyn will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Wheat Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Wheat Ridge has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Evergreen, they will be playing at home against Ponderosa at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
