Frontier Academy dropped down to 5-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 69-57 to the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

As for Swallows Charter Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games.

Swallows Charter Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mike Vazquez, who went 8-for-14 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Vazquez now owns an excellent 47.6% shooting accuracy. Andrew Breedlove was another key player, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 15 points and six boards.
