The Maud Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 71-59 to Oklahoma School for the Deaf. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landen Fewel out in front who scored 28 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fewel has scored all season. RyJan Reininger was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds.
Maud has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.
Maud does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they will face off against Maysville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oklahoma School for the Deaf has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 379 points over their last six contests.
