After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Patrick's, Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They really took it to the Southern Valley Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-6 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] just coasted through the last quarter.

Chase Beitler was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 202 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry. Those 202 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Beitler was just one part of a punishing run game: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Southern Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
