After losing to Klondike the last time they met, Wink decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wink Wildcats came out on top against the Klondike Cougars by a score of 64-51 on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Wink's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aizlyn Dewberry, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. The match was Dewberry's third in a row with at least ten points. Finley Frerich was another key player, going 8 for 11 on her way to 16 points and eight rebounds.

Wink smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Wink pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Klondike, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Wink didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-31 win against Denver City on the 31st. As for Klondike, they will welcome Sands at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Sands will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Klondike surely won't give up without a fight.
