Lincoln Gilson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. He continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Camron Talbot, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Morgan lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March.
The victory made it two in a row for Morgan and bumps their season record up to 19-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for South Summit, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
