Creekview (Canton, Ga.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Dylan Carl threw a touchdown to
Connor Dulmage with 11:00 remaining, bringing the team to victory over
Northview (Johns Creek, Ga.) 35-28.
The Grizzlies led 21-14 at halftime, but the Titans recaptured the lead on a touchdown with 6:00 left in the third.
A 56-42 Creekview victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Northview, which notched a 34-17 victory over Cambridge in its previous outing. The win brought Creekview's winning streak to three games. The loss snapped Northview's two-game winning streak.
Creekview (4-2) will play a AAAAA Region 7A game against Cambridge next week, while Northview (3-3) will take on North Springs also in a AAAAA Region 7A game.
