Corvallis extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping their season record down to 3-19 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-17 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lebanon Warriors. Even though they lost, the Spartans' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.6 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Corvallis got a massive performance out of Parker Doerr, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Richardson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
As for Lebanon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 21st.
On Lebanon's side, Mahala Pyle was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI Pyle has posted since back in May of 2024. Scarlett French was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
