A Season-Best Effort from Benjamin Plemons Leads Chestatee over Pickens
Benjamin Plemons produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Chestatee to the win on Friday. Plemons' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Chestatee's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. Plemons and Chestatee will take on Dawson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Parker Carlton Goes Supernova in North Hall Victory
Parker Carlton's big game helped extend North Hall's winning streak to five on Friday. Carlton did his part (and then some), picking up 16 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards for the 'W'. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made seven total tackles (1.5 for loss).
For the season, Carlton has averaged 72.3 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 24.14 rushing yards per game.

Johnson is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Young and Johnson will square off against Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Cal Faulkner's big game helped extend Lumpkin County's winning streak to three on Friday. Faulkner was dynamite, throwing for 161 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
For the year, Faulkner has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 80.7 passing yards per game.

Hector Espinoza Makes It Two for Chestatee
The second Chestatee player making an appearance here is Hector Espinoza, and for good reason. He rushed for 107 yards on only nine carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 69 yards.
