The Maxwell Wildcats will challenge the Arapahoe Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arapahoe took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Maxwell, who comes in off a win.
Maxwell will head into Saturday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 22) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Brady, sneaking past 43-40.

Kristyn Cheek continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5 for 6 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Cheek is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Flock, who posted eight points.
Maxwell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 18 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Arapahoe played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Southern Valley, falling 49-26.
Maxwell will have to keep a close watch on Clara Hilker and Taytum Roskop, a pair of players who had a big impact on Arapahoe's prior game. Hilker had eight points, while Roskop posted no points and five rebounds.
Maxwell's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Arapahoe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Maxwell has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Arapahoe struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Maxwell skirted past Arapahoe 33-30 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Does Maxwell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arapahoe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
