Longview dropped down to 8-4 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 14-3 to the Henderson Lions. The Lobos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

As for Henderson, they pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games.

For Henderson's part, the team relied heavily on Kenidii Hogg, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Those triples were Hogg's first of the season. Another player making a difference was KK Brooks, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Coming up, Longview will challenge Troup at 4:25 p.m. on Thursday. As for Henderson, they will take on Rockport-Fulton on Thursday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
