South Ridge is 1-8 against Mountain Iron-Buhl since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The South Ridge Panthers are on the road again and plays the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

They lost to Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] on the road by a decisive 82-66 margin on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Mountain Iron-Buhl had strong showings from Chris King, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds, and Tj Duchamp, who scored 24 points. King is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 13 games he's played. Iziah Alto was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
South Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Mountain Iron-Buhl, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
South Ridge took a serious blow against Mountain Iron-Buhl in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 77-48. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point South Ridge was down 77-48.
