After losing to the St. Johns Country Day Spartans the last time they met, the St. Joseph Academy Flashes decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. St. Joseph Academy took down St. Johns Country Day 50-35 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Joseph Academy.
Kelly Cramer was her usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with six rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Zariyah Turner was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
St. Joseph Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. As for St. Johns Country Day, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.
St. Joseph Academy will head out on the road to face off against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Johns Country Day, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tocoi Creek at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Tocoi Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Thursday.
