Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Byers walked away with it. They blew past the Dawson School Mustangs 14-6 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Kaden Bennett made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits.
