After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Libertyville, Warren Township was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Highland Park Giants. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Giants recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Warren Township's victory bumped their record up to 19-14. As for Highland Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-10-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren Township will challenge Lakes at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Highland Park, they will square off against Rolling Meadows at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Giants 3.3, the Mustangs 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
