Even though the American Prep WV Eagles scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, the Tabiona Tigers still came out on top. Tabiona walked away with a 71-61 victory over American Prep WV. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tabiona.
Tabiona's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Rhoades led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Rhoades' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Easton Peterson was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five assists.
Tabiona's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for American Prep WV, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tabiona will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bryce Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for American Prep WV, they will head out on the road to face off against Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
