The high-scoring effort was just what the Falcons needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Morgan Bozarth made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bozarth was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Wojcik, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeighlynd Dorsey, who scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Fivay kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
