Memorial barely beat Minster the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Roughriders were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Roughriders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Minster, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4.

Memorial and Minster should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Roughriders will face off against Kenton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (170 vs. 605). Meanwhile, Minster (ranked 69th) will meet Celina (ranked 340th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
