Foxcroft has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the King Abdullah Academy Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Foxcroft was not quite the Chargers' equal in the second half on Monday. Foxcroft took a 40-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. Foxcroft has not had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
The losing side was boosted by Irene Boehm, who scored 12 points. Tashae' Allen was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to King Abdullah Academy, who are still winless after their ninth game. They took a serious blow against Trinity at Meadow View on Friday, falling 48-12.
Foxcroft now has a losing record at 5-6. As for King Abdullah Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Foxcroft against the Falcons in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 53-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foxcroft since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
