Southside had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Ouachita Parish Lions get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Saturday. The Sharks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Southside is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Ouachita Parish, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-17.

Coming up, Southside will challenge St. Amant on Wednesday. Ouachita Parish does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
