They took down Brazosport 57-43. This was payback for Van Vleck, who suffered a 55-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Jaila Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points. The game was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tamauri Fields, who scored 11 points.
Despite the loss, Brazosport still got an impressive performance from Londyn Brown, who scored 9 points along with 18 rebounds and 3 blocks. Brown is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now blocked two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Talyn Wilhelm, who scored 4 points.
Van Vleck's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Brazosport, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.
Van Vleck will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Tidehaven at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Brazosport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boling at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Boling is ranked 480th, while Brazosport is ranked 478th).
