  Zach Brown went supernova for Heppner, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Brown didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass. Another rusher making a difference was  Alakae Rodriguez, who rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns.
 Heppner's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged five passes before it was all said and done.  Caleb George led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself. The dominant performance also gave  Nickolas Wenberg a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Heppner was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 279  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 173  rushing yards in seven consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, Stanfield had to suffer through a   33-6 loss at the hands of Weston-McEwen/Griswold. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Tiger Scots recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Heppner's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Stanfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
 Heppner strolled past Stanfield when the teams last played  back in October of 2023 by a score of  42-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Heppner since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
