Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bourne). They never let the Wareham Vikings get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Cam Polczwartek made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with four runs and two RBI. He has become a key player for Bourne: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-11 otherwise.
