Even though the Asotin Panthers scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, the Northwest Christian School Crusaders still came out on top. Northwest Christian School secured a 62-57 W over Asotin. That's another feather in the cap for Northwest Christian School, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Northwest Christian School can attribute much of their success to Ben Slade, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Slade has scored all season. Avi West was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Northwest Christian School has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Asotin, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Upper Columbia Academy the next time they take the court. Northwest Christian School will head out to face Upper Columbia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Asotin will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
