If Sparta wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Spokane, they should've done a better job of containing Carley Collins. The Owls were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans on Tuesday for which the team can thank Collins, who had 19 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.4 digs per game.

Spokane was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-17.

The victory made it two in a row for Spokane and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1. As for Sparta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5-1.

Looking ahead, Spokane will venture away from home to challenge Marionville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sparta, they are taking a road trip to square off against Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
